Saemi has flourish as an actress in Hollywood ever since arriving from Tokyo, and is a veteran of TV, film, and stage.  One of her favorite characters, amongst the numerous roles she's played, is Kimiko, in NBC's hit series, "HEROES."  She plays Hiro Nakamura's older sister, who takes over the mammoth corporation established by late Kaito Nakamura, played by George Takei.  She has also appeared in movies like, "SNOW FALLING ON CEDARS”, “THE TRUMAN SHOW," and "NATURAL BORN KILLERS," as well as TV's, "NIP/TUCK," and “THE UNIT”, AND "ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT."

 One of Saemi's hobbies was writing a journal and that led her to have her first autobiographical book published from one of the largest publishers in Japan in 1998.  The book, “With Your Dream”, became a best seller by capturing many Japanese women's hearts.   She has published 4 more books from other prestigious publishers since then and is now working on her 6^th book.  She also wrote her own material for stand up comedy and has appeared on the main stages at renown comedy clubs such as The Comedy Store and The Ice House.
